The Dutch coast guard is available 24/7 for incidents on and around the North Sea and inland waters. They have access to the AW189 SAR helicopter and the Dash-8 aircraft.

The AW189 SAR helicopter here seen along together with the KNRM ship. It is a modern helicopter used for search and rescue operations. The Dutch Coastguard has three SAR helicopters; The PH-SAR, PH-NCG and PH-RSQ. The helicopters are based at Midden-Zeeland airfield and Den Helder air base.
